WHEN? WHERE? WHO?<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

We are inviting you to apply for a Youth Exchange on Natural Building and Social Inclusion<\/strong>, which will take place between the 10th and the 19th of June 2023<\/strong> (arrival and departure date included), in the village of Mosorin, Serbia<\/strong>. 

This Youth Exchange will host 30 young adults<\/strong> from Serbia, Kosovo<\/strong><\/strong>, Croatia, Montenegro, Albania<\/strong> and Turkey <\/strong>for 8 days to learn and discover about Natural building and questioning social inclusion within this field. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHAT IS THIS YOUTH EXCHANGE ABOUT? <\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

It is all about getting your hands muddy, learning about different aspects and techniques of natural building, meeting new people and sharing spaces with a big group and questioning building standards through social inclusion to make it a more inclusive world.

During those 8 days you will learn about the basics of natural building and why it makes so much sense \u263a  There will be space for practising various techniques such as earthen plasters and sculptures, woodwork, adobe bricks, perfect conditions for muddiness! 

Further, then practice there will also be a more theoretical insight into the safety basics of construction and principles of natural building. Natural building is, you will see, very intuitive and playful! \u263a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

WHO CAN APPLY? <\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Partner organisations: Fine Art & Craft Club (Serbia), GAIA Kosovo, VUK (Croatia), ADP ZID (Montenegro), PVN Albania, Bugday (Turkey).

This means that participants of this youth exchange should be residents of those countries. Each organization will select 4 participants and 1 group leader.

Age limit: between 18 and 30 

No specific experience is required, you should just have an interest in Natural building and that\u2019s all! \u263a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

English will be the common language.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

HOW TO APPLY?<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Fill in the application form<\/a><\/strong> <\/a>no later than the 10th of May 2022. <\/strong>Selected participants will be informed about the selection results by the 15th of May 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABOUT MO\u0160ORIN AND CENTER OF EARTH ARCHITECTURE<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Mo\u0161orin is a village located in the north of Serbia. The closest city is Titel (14km). Distance to Novi Sad is 30 km, and to Belgrade is 80-90 km.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The centre of earth architecture in Mo\u0161orin was built from the vision of the young architect to renovate a hundred years old houses made of soil and to stimulate the connection of the people in communal activities, restoring the value of the local earth material.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Join us in this muddy adventure, meet people and let\u2019s make this world a more beautiful and peaceful place to live! And remember, whoever comes to Mosorin always returns! \u263a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ACCOMMODATION AND FOOD<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Sleeping will be in the tents. All participants have to bring their own sleeping bag and they are welcome to bring their own tent too (but for those who don’t have a tent we will arrange it for you) \u263a

Facilities are basic, don’t expect any luxury other than a warm welcome :) There are cold and hot outdoor showers and composting toilets.

The food will be vegan and vegetarian, mainly local products and super tasty. We will eat together breakfast, lunch and dinner \u263a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

TRAVEL AND COSTS<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n

This project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the EU, which means that travel and participation costs are covered. Participants will have to keep a copy of the tickets as they will be reimbursed after the activity. The tickets will be reimbursed up to a maximum amount that depends on the country where the travel starts. To be eligible as a participant, your country of departure and arrival have to be the same.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

MAXIMUM REFUNDABLE AMOUNTS<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

20-180 \u20ac for participants from Serbia (depending on distance)
180 \u20ac for participants from Albania, Kosovo and Montenegro
275 \u20ac for participants from Turkey and Croatia<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If possible, travel should be done using green travel to reduce the project\u2019s environmental footprint \u263a<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ABOUT WaaMooM PROJEC<\/strong>T<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

We Are All Made Out Of Mud (WaaMooM) is a 2-year long Erasmus+ Capacity building project which involves 10 organizations from the Western Balkan region (Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia and Herzegovina,  Montenegro) and program countries (Croatia, France, Slovenia, Turkey, Serbia). The main topic of the project is natural building (eco-building) as an innovative approach to social cohesion and inclusion, development and youth empowerment. The approach is based on natural building techniques and different ways for engagement and learning through this practice. It also combines youth work, volunteering aspects and already existing tools and methods for inclusion and development of skills, knowledge and attitudes. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
