Snežana Ilić iz ORSP me je pozvala da budem gost tokom Festivala slobodnih reka i planina u Toplom dolu – to je bio poziv koji se ne odbija, pa smo odložili reprizu LALA festivala za nedelju dana.

Do I need to hear about what means to be Serbian from Serbians who are shaming Serbia all the time? For me, being Serbian, means: at all times representing  this country in a way that no educated, honorable and fair ancestor and descendant of mine are ashamed or humiliated. At the same time, for me, being Serbian, means – to respect myself and my own, while respecting everyone else and everyone’s right to be different. For me, being Serbian, means – understanding and admitting mistakes that were done by us or by those who bare the same name, because mistakes are made by everyone who works, and at every (opposing) side, if taking sides is at all necessary.

Dear friends and colleagus,
I am addressing you in front of “Klub finih zanata” from Mošorin (Serbia), the association which has been dealing with the renovation of earthen houses and training and education in the field of earth architecture for past ten years. Last year, our association hosted the first Balkan Earth Conference, as well as the third traveling Regio Earth Festival, which brought together over 50 professors, architects and artists and more than 100 participants from 32 countries. This year, at the initiative of children from the local kindergarten, we planned the LALA festival, which, in addition to workshops for children and adults, also has a large number of events open to the general public. After the situation we all survived in the previous months, we thought that the festival should be held and bring joy and a sense of community to all who participate in it, respecting all the prescribed measures of protection and distance.

Obraćam se ispred udruženja „Klub finih zanata“ iz Mošorina koje se već deset godina bavi obnovom kuća od zemlje i obukom i edukacijom na polju zemljane arhitekture. Prošle godine naše udruženje bilo je domaćin prve Balkan Earth konferencije, kao i trećeg putujućeg Regio Earth festivala, koji su okupili preko 50 univerzitetskih profesora, arhitekata i umetnika i više od 100 učesnika iz 32 zemlje sveta. Ove godine, na inicijativu dece iz lokalnog zabavišta, osmislili smo LALA festival, koji, osim radionica za decu i odrasle, ima i veliki broj događaja otvorenih za opštu javnost.
